GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL POLICY
1. Introduction
CHAKRA is committed to maintaining a transparent, fair, and efficient mechanism for addressing grievances of its employees, students, trainees, and other stakeholders. The Grievance Redressal Policy provides a structured process for receiving, investigating, and resolving grievances in a timely and impartial manner.
2. Scope
This policy applies to:
- All employees (permanent, contractual, temporary)
- Students and trainees
- Research scholars and faculty members
- Vendors, contractors, and service providers
- Any other stakeholder interacting with CHAKRA
3. Types of Grievances Covered
- Service-related issues and administrative matters
- Work environment and safety concerns
- Discrimination and unfair treatment
- Salary, benefits, and emolument issues
- Harassment and bullying
- Career development and promotion matters
- Any other legitimate grievance affecting stakeholders
4. Grievance Redressal Committee
CHAKRA has established a Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC) comprising senior officials from various departments to address grievances. The committee is responsible for:
- Receiving and registering grievances
- Investigating complaints thoroughly
- Providing timely responses to complainants
- Recommending appropriate corrective actions
- Ensuring confidentiality and non-retaliation
5. Procedure for Filing Grievances
A grievance can be filed through the following channels:
- Online: Through the CHAKRA Grievance Portal
- Email: admin.chakra@muhs.ac.in
- Physical: Submit written complaint to GRC Office
- Suggestion Box: Anonymous grievances can be dropped in suggestion boxes

7. Appeal Process
If the complainant is not satisfied with the decision of the GRC, they may appeal to the Appellate Authority within 15 days of receiving the decision. The Appellate Authority shall dispose of the appeal within 30 days.
8. Confidentiality and Non-Retaliation
All grievances will be treated with strict confidentiality. CHAKRA prohibits retaliation against any individual who files a grievance in good faith or participates in an investigation.
