CHAKRA is a Section 8 company established by the Medical Education and Drugs Department (MEDD), Government of Maharashtra under the aegis of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS). • Faculty Development Academy (FDA): Programs for medical educators.

• Simulation Lab: AR/VR-based clinical competency training.
• Clinical Trials Unit (CTU): Oversight of clinical trials, research including interdisciplinary and translational research.
• Innovation cell: Providing incubation and other programs for promoting entrepreneurship among doctors.

• Course Delivery: Courses are delivered through various modes, including blended learning and self-paced online modules.

6. Clinical Trials and Research Grants

• Grants: CHAKRA's CTU administers research seed grants for the eligible research projects upon due diligence and screening process conducted by its Clinical trial team or appointed representatives. All decisions related to the research grants are subject to its terms and conditions.
• Governance: All research is subject to oversight by the CHAKRA's Research Advisory Panel (RAP) and must comply with ethical and regulatory frameworks.
