Receiving an invitation for the interview gives no right or claim for selection for the said post.   Key Roles and Responsibilities The Associate Professor – Digital Health will design and secure approvals for academic programs, lead training and multi-institutional research projects, design and run workshops to ensure that knowledge of digital technologies permeates across the students and faculty of various health sciences institutions in Maharashtra. Roles and responsibilities for this position include: 1. Design, develop, and periodically update digital health courses relevant to the health sciences professional. 2. Track and manage adoption of existing courses that digital health team has launched on LMS 3. Plan and execute workshops, faculty development programs, certificate programs, and hands-on training for faculty, clinicians, administrators, and students across CHAKRA spokes. 4. Work with institutions to implement digital health pilots, research studies, and academic programs ensuring standardization and measurable outcomes. 5. Publish in peer-reviewed journals, develop white papers, case studies, and contribute to conferences and policy discussions in digital health. 6. Support and research on various digital health initiatives within Maharashtra and provide recommendations on the same. 7. Support establishment and academic utilization of digital health labs, sandboxes, simulation environments, and collaborative research platforms. 8. Build collaboration with various organizations within the digital health ecosystem to build CHAKRA eminence. Eligibility Criteria and Experience Required Knowledge • Masters in a Health Sciences discipline AND demonstrable specialization / formal training / fellowship in Digital Health / Health Informatics / Public Health Informatics / Clinical Data Science / AI in Healthcare • At least 2 years of hands-on involvement in digital health projects—such as EMR/EHR systems, telemedicine programs, AI-based diagnostics, or data-driven healthcare delivery models. • Proven record of assisting in developing and managing academic programs, curriculum design, and capacity-building initiatives. • Strong knowledge of digital health ecosystem in India. Mandatory Skills • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with various government department, private institutions and other academic institutions. • Competence in managing senior stakeholders across educational institutions, digital organizations and various partners of CHAKRA. • Strong project management capabilities. • Strong people leadership with ability to inspire diverse teams across academia, clinical, and industry settings to promote digital health technologies Experience • 8+ years of experience in academics / research / digital health implementation. Remuneration & Tenure • As per CHAKRA project guidelines and institutional norms commensurate with the experience of the candidate. • Tenure: On contractual basis with contract term extending to max of 3 years. Contract can be renewed after 3 years based on mutual agreement.
